A Message from the Principal

Dear JSC Community,

This last week has been a busy one here at JSC! Our third and fourth grade students did an outstanding job completing the ELA PSSA assessments. Next week, third and fourth grade will complete Math PSSA assessments on Monday and Tuesday. Then, fourth grade (only) will complete the Science PSSA assessments on Wednesday and Thursday. Thank you all so much for making sure students are getting lots of rest, especially the nights before testing!

Did you know that Teacher Appreciation Week is Monday, May 6th through Friday, May 10th? At JSC we celebrate not just our teachers, but all of our staff. We are extremely fortunate to have such kind, compassionate staff members who tirelessly support our students each and every day! Be sure to check out the 'Teacher / Staff Appreciation Activities' ideas listed in this newsletter. We hope you will consider participating in these little tokens of gratitude that mean the world to our staff. After all, it's the little things in life that bring the most joy!

The last month of school is always a whirlwind of events! Please continue to stress the importance of following JSC's PRIDE rules with your children, so no one misses out on any of the fun-filled learning activities! Have a wonderful weekend and Roll Tide!

Your partner in education,

Ms. Kerri Lubinsky

Principal

John S. Clarke Elementary Center
