March is bringing energy, excitement, and impact! Scholars were encouraged to stay engaged, give back, and complete program requirements. March is a powerful reminder that small actions lead to big success!

Shoutout to our Southeast & Erwin middle school Scholars who are crushing it! These schools currently have the highest Crosby Scholars completion rates for both Academy requirements and Community Service Hour submissions, and we are so proud of your hard work and dedication!

Active Scholars will participate in the Speak Like a Scholar Public Speaking Workshop during the school day this month. Students will practice confidence, communication, and leadership skills through interactive activities. Contact the middle school team for more info.

Active scholars will participate in Career Bingo this month! This is a fun, interactive way to explore different careers and learn about the skills needed for future jobs. Contact the middle school team for more info.

Our Male Empowerment (M.E.) Meeting for Crosby Scholars will be held on March 28 from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM. This session will focus on leadership, confidence, and brotherhood, creating a space for scholars to grow, connect, and be empowered. We look forward to seeing you there! **Students can earn Academy credit!

Crosby Scholars students are invited to help ice and wrap cookies. This is a wonderful opportunity to earn community service hours while supporting scholarships for Crosby Scholars Rowan students and giving back to a meaningful cause.

Volunteer Dates and Times:

Thank you for helping us honor Michael McDuffie’s legacy and support Crosby Scholars Rowan.

Community service is a vital part of our program, so don’t forget that you must complete two hours of community service each year in order to remain active in the program.

Please use the following two links to submit your hours or to view upcoming service opportunities.

If your student missed an Academy this year, please reach out to us so we can share information about the next upcoming event or a make-up option. We’re happy to help ensure your student completes all program requirements and stays on track.
