Websites and software which are being considered to be used in the district go through an extensive
vetting process. One aspect of that is student data privacy legislation:
FERPA: Regulates handling of
student education records data.
CIPA: Regulates internet filtering,
safety, acceptable use, and digital
citizenship education.
COPPA: Regulates handling of
personally identifiable information.
SOPPA: Further regulates handling
of student education records.
