Message from Mr. Tejkl
“Still I rise..."
Good morning!
The first quarter is down to it's last week! Continue to get your studies done as our staff and your parents will also be making sure you are getting everything in! With the new month and season coming in, the obstacles can begin to pile. Whether it is the changing of the weather, nights becoming longer and the stresses of districts and deadlines can accumulate. The key is to make sure that you are staying in your lane, staying focused and continuing to give your best. BUT, my number one piece of advice is to ask for help and communicate with others. Don't be too prideful or ashamed for asking for assistance!
Quote of the week: "Still I rise..." This year has been off to an amazing start but of course there are ups and downs along the way. We are putting so much effort and energy into giving our kids/students our best that we are on the danger of having our battery levels going to zero with no recharge in sight. We were all hopeful that COVID would be gone and we would be back to our "normal" but it won't be like that for awhile if ever. Not to be doom and gloom but it is one of those unforeseen items that we have no control over but it weighs on our mind.
We want to get as many things in for ourselves and for our kids so we don't lose out but then that puts more on our plate to deal with as well. Whether we are in the classroom, at our job or just trying to enjoy a weekend, we can let the uncontrollable get the best of us. My best advice is to find that activity that clears your mind and is able to enjoy the moment. I'm guilty of this and have not been the most engaged as I should when I am at home.
With all those obstacles that try to hold us down or deter us from our goals, we need to remember that "Still I rise...". We can make it through the challenges inside of our head and those outside. Find your balance and find your why... Have a great rest of your Sunday!
"Negative thinking is contagious. Do your best not to dwell on negativity, it will consume you and prevent you from becoming your best self."
-Germany Kent.
Have a great Sunday and let's have a great week!
