Principal Message Principal Message

Our short three day week for students is all wrapped up, and the teachers are off to Edmonton for two days of professional learning.

Wildwood Wally saw his shadow, so we are looking at 6 more weeks of energy.

To cap off our week we joined Evansview School for a production of Pinocchio, we are grateful for the invitation and the lovely show.

Thank you to Drax for sponsoring another hot lunch for our students this week.

When we come back we have a few events going on. On Wednesday the 11th our k-3 classes will be going to Blue Ridge Eagle Point. On Friday the 13th, our archery team will be attending a tournament in Edson at Parkland Composite High School.

I also wanted to share with you that at our February 10th School Council Meeting Grand Trunk School principal Heidi Zadderey will be joining us to discuss and take questions about the new amalgamated school starting in 26/27.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out by calling the school at 780-325-3858 or emailing me at alanstoy@gypsd.ca

Sincerely,

Alan Stoyles

Principal

JK JK

With it being a short week, we had a great day!

Our focus letters today were M, N and O.

We did an “All About Me” activity and a coloring activity.

We enjoyed our time in the Gym with our K/1 friends!

We have started independently packing up at the end of the day. This is a new and important step for our little ones, so they are well prepared for Kindergarten next year! So far, we are doing amazing and knowing our routine! This came after they were all able to unpack and get ready for the day in the morning, all on their own!

Our favorite toys today during free play were the Kitchen and Legos!

Next Week: Focus letters are P, Q and R and Valentines crafts/activities!

Our ‘Unit’ on Penguins is postponed!

Thank you,

- Ms. Y - JK Program Coordinator.

FOPLS FOPLS

Our students from Evansview, Wildwood, and Grand Trunk High School are coming together under one roof — and we want to make sure they have a playground that brings them together too!

The Friends of Pembina Learning Society (FOPLS) is running a raffle fundraiser to help create a fun, safe, and engaging space where kids can play, grow, and make memories for years to come.

Your support will help make this playground a place our children are proud to call their own!
