The Henrietta ISD Board of Trustees held its regular monthly meeting on November 11, 2024.
Ellie & Kai Kirk led the Pledge of Allegiance & Texas Pledge.
Scott Williams shared the Invocation to begin the meeting.
There was no public comment.
The Board recognized Junior High Students, Cross Country Athletes, and Dave Holbert, who was named TASSP Region 9 Secondary Principal of the Year.
The Board heard reports on Career and Technical Education (CTE), Dual Credit, and the Student Management System.
The Audit report was presented, and the Board discussed the district's Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) rating of A - Superior Achievement - the highest possible rating.
The Board approved all consent agenda items: October regular and special meeting minutes, and the payment of district bills.
The Board heard the District Financial Report, and approved amendments to the 2024-25 budget.
Chief Learning Officer Kendra Bennett shared reports on iStation and House Bill 3 - College, Career, and Military Readiness.
Superintendent Jaime Clark shared the superintendent report, covering Safety and Security, a bond update, a Facility & Committee update, and the Golden Bearcat Club Report.
After going into closed session, the Board reconvened the meeting.
