Boyden WeeklyUpdateMay 16, 2025
Dear Boyden Families,

This week we finished up MCAS with our grade 5 students completing the Science and Technology/Engineering portion of the assessment. Students in grades 3-5 have worked hard over the last few weeks and we are extremely proud of their efforts.

With the guidance of Mrs. Marinelli and the help of a some Boyden students, Boyden alumni and current Walpole High School Senior, Sakeena Abassi, is in the process of painting a mural outside the front office. She is working hard and we are looking forward to share the final product. Below are a couple of pictures along the way.

Enjoy the weekend!

Brendan

Talent Show

Today some of grade 4 and grade 5 students put on an amzing talent show for the rest of school. Our kindergarten students kicked off the show by singing "Tony Chestnut". This was followed by the 4th/5th grade student showcasing thier many talents that ranged from comedy, sports, musical acts, dancing, karate and many more. We sure have a talented group at Boyden!

Shout out to Mrs. Cassani, Mrs. Audet and Ms. Lemmler for organizing this for the students.

Family Survey

You should have received—or will soon receive—an email invitation to participate in the Walpole Public Schools district-wide Family School Climate Survey. The purpose of the survey is to learn more about you and your child’s experiences in our schools. We have partnered with K12 Insight to administer the survey, gather responses, and analyze the feedback. The insights we collect will play a key role in guiding our School Councils as they develop School Improvement Plans for the upcoming year. We sincerely appreciate your input. Thank you for your continued partnership in helping us create the best possible learning environment for all students.

JiJi Visits Boyden

Thursday morning to congratulate a large group of students who achieved 100% puzzle progress. These students received their special certificate and got their picture taken with JiJi for the Boyden ST Math Wall of Fame. We congratulated 77 new students, bringing the school total to 195! Amazing! Students will have one more opportunity the last week of school to receive their certificate and get their picture taken with JiJi, so keep working hard and solving those puzzles!
