OBMS Family Weekly Update

• This Wednesday is an early release day. Please plan for a 3:15 dismissal.
• This week we have very important assessments in ELA and Math. Information gathered from these assessments along with the FAST PM1 taken a couple weeks ago is used to determine remediation and enrichment needs for our students. Please help us in encouraging our Panthers to give it their all on Tuesday (Math VBA1) and Thursday (ELA VBA1).
• Thank you for your support with our annual school-wide fundraiser. Our students raised over $10,000 to support the many incentive programs, student recognition programs, classroom support, student appreciation, and staff appreciation initiatives. Because of your support we will be able to continue to do great things at OBMS.

• ATTENTION 7th GRADERS: There will be an informational parent meeting to learn more about the Tallahassee field trip on October 8th 5:30- 6:30pm in the media center. 7th grade families are welcome to come and learn more about the field trip which will take place February 12th and 13th.

• OBMS has partnered with Smile Programs to offer in-school dental care on November 18th. To learn more about how your Panther could receive dental care and sign up at no cost to you, click on the information flyer below. Dental care is provided by licensed professionals and includes dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride, and sealants when necessary.
• Come out and support our PANTHER ATHLETES at the home VOLLEYBALL games (see dates below) and our only home CROSS COUNTRY meet this coming Saturday. Volleyball game entry fees are $5. Cross Country entry fees are $6.
