A Message from Principal Holly Murray
Dear Families,
We made it through Week 3! Beginning of the year testing is officially complete, and core instruction is now in full swing with lots of fun, hands-on learning happening across all our classrooms.
A special thank you to all of our amazing kindergarten families for coming out to Kindergarten Curriculum Night. We appreciate you investing your time to learn about the exciting and pivotal year of learning ahead for your child!
A few quick highlights from this week:
Leadership and Action Teams: Students are learning what it means to be a strong leader and are excited to sign up for Action Teams, a unique school wide opportunity to partner with teachers, build leadership skills, and explore out of the box hobbies and interests.
Schoolwide Expectations: Ask your student what HOWL means this weekend! We have been practicing our core expectations: Honorable, Observant, Willing Leaders.
Upcoming PTSA Spirit Events: Mark your calendars for two fun ways to support our school. A portion of all proceeds directly supports our teachers and students!
Peter Piper Pizza Night: Friday, August 28th | 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Arrowhead Location)
Bruster’s Ice Cream Night: Wednesday, September 16th | 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

A Message from MSPTSA
Peter Piper Pizza Fundraiser! Please join us next Friday the 28 th from 4-8pm
to celebrate the first month of school and earn some ‘dough’ for the
MSPTSA! Can’t make it in person? Please support us by ordering online
using the code: FRESHDOUGH. See attached flyer.
2 weeks left for our membership drive! Memberships start at $7 and can
help your student’s class climb to a top three enrollment spot! Join by 9/4
to help earn one of three prizes for your class, including: an animal
encounter, water play, or extra recess with popsicles!
Gift Card Giveaway! Download the Box Tops for Education app and scan a
receipt for the chance at a $25 Buffalo Wild Wings gift card! After scanning
your first receipt, send us a screenshot on social media to be entered into
the raffle! Deadline for the raffle is 8/31, and we would love the continued
support all year long!

Pre-Order your Spirit Shirts!
Our 26-27 spirit shirts are now ready for pre-order starting this Monday! Parents can purchase them online here You will need your student's ID number and the spelling of their last as listed in PowerSchool. Once that information is entered, click on Clubs and Activities, and last click on Spirit Wear.
Shirts are $18 each, $20 for XX and XXX. Payments can also be made in the front office.
The last day to pre-order is September 4th.
