Re-registration is open for the 2025-2026 school year. Attached are the re-registration form and tuition/fees sheet for the new school year. Please read the attached letter from Mr. Juarez regarding updates on tuition and fees.

Those of you who received catapult permission slips recently are part of the Montebello School District. They provide us with funds to provide aftershcool tutoring. Our own teachers will be leading the afterschool tutoring on the following days:

Monday & Wednesday 3:30-4:30 pm 2nd & 3rd grade students with Mrs. Armstrong

Tuesday & Thursday 3:30- 4:30 pm 4th & 5th grade students with Mr. Borgerding

Tuesday & Thursday 3:30 - 4:30 pm 6th & 7th grade students with Mrs. Armstrong

Student council will have their final sale of the year! They will be selling Easter grams on Monday and Tuesday to be distributed on Thursday 5/17/25. Please keep in mind that these grams are limited so it will be first come first serve.

Please be reminded that there will be no school on Friday, April 18, 2025, in observance of Good Friday. As we reflect on this solemn day, we encourage our STA families to take this time for prayer, reflection, and family.

Please be reminded that St. Thomas Aquinas School will be closed for Easter Break from Monday, April 21, to Friday, April 25, 2025. We hope you enjoy this time of rest, reflection, and celebration with your loved ones.

Classes will resume on Monday, April 28, 2025.

We hope this email finds you well. As you may be aware, this year's Teacher’s Appreciation Week will be the week of Monday May 5, 2025, through Friday, May 9, 2025. We are so blessed to have an incredible group of dedicated teachers and staff at STA that go above and beyond for our children. Our teachers and staff work countless hours to provide our children with the best education. This year has been even more demanding for them due to our school going through WASC accreditation.

There are currently a total of 19 teachers and staff at STA. As a gesture of our appreciation for their dedication and commitment to our children we would like to celebrate them, however, we need your support. Breakfast will be provided on Monday, May 5th and lunch will be provided on Friday, May 9th. Details for the remainder of the days to follow.

We would appreciate it if each student could donate $10.00 by Thursday, April 17, 2025. Please find below a link to the Sign-Up Genius. Pledges can be made via credit card or in-person to the school office.

Student council trip:

5/14/25

Mr. Contreras and Mr. Juarez will accompany the students. No extra chaperones are needed.

We will meet in school in the morning and students will be picked up from school in the evening. Hours will be released soon.

8th grade trip

5/27/25

Ms. Campos and Mr. Juarez will accompany the students. No extra chaperones are needed at this moment. Transportation is still being worked out, we will notify you as soon as we have finalized it.

We will be offering summer camp for all of our students.

Dates: 6/23/25 - 7/25/25

Cost:

Registration per student: $35

Tuition per week: $315

Discount per week if 2 or more weeks: $20

Sibling discount of 30% for each additional student: $220

Summer morning care per day for each child: $6 from 7:30- 8:00 am

Summer afternoon care: We will partner with the Boys and Girls club who will be in charge of afterschool care from 2:30 - 6:00 pm. Boys & Girls club will charge a $100 fee per week for the 5 weeks the students are on our campus. The same offer will be extended to families who need daycare after summer camp.
