Dear Parents and Families,

We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing Fall Break! We are excited to welcome our students back and begin the second nine weeks of school. This is an important time of the year, and we are looking forward to building on the momentum from the first quarter and helping every student continue to grow and succeed.

One of our major focuses this year is increasing student reading. We have several fun and engaging activities planned at school to encourage a love of reading and strengthen literacy skills. We would greatly appreciate your support at home by setting aside 20 minutes each evening to read with your child. This simple routine can make a tremendous difference in their academic success and help foster a lifelong love of learning.

We would also like to remind everyone of the importance of regular attendance and arriving at school on time each day. Every instructional minute matters, and students benefit most when they are present and engaged from the beginning of the school day.

If your child has a doctor's appointment or other appointment during school hours, we encourage you to bring them back to school if the appointment ends before dismissal. We would also appreciate your help in reducing the number of early checkouts whenever possible so that students can take full advantage of instructional time and school activities.

Thank you for your partnership and continued support. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to a strong and successful second nine weeks!

We are already preparing for our next 4.5-week attendance and behavior incentive celebration! As Halloween candy goes on sale, we would greatly appreciate donations of individually wrapped candy to use as rewards for our students.

These incentives help encourage excellent attendance, positive behavior, and a strong commitment to learning. Your donations allow us to continue recognizing and celebrating the great things our students do each day.

If you would like to contribute, please send candy donations to school with your child.

Thank you for partnering with us to motivate and celebrate our students' success!
