Mixing Schools and Politics Don't Benefit Those Most In Need! Mixing Schools and Politics Don't Benefit Those Most In Need!

It Usually Benefits Those In Greed.

  • Give us what we want or else or we will do whatever is necessary to bring you down. We don't care how our demands impact anyone or anything else. What is really going on in PGCPS with some of our colleagues?
  • A lot has been going on in our country and in Gorgeous Prince Georgeous in the last week. The President has provoked riots, a new county executive elected in PG County , PGCEA voted no confidence in our current superintendent and an ex-board member who may be considering a return and rise to a major leadership role in PGCPS if Mr. House is pushed out the door.
  • I was wondering whatever happened to school board member David Murray and then this came out. I'm not sure that this story matters, but it is a matter of ethics that impacted our children in PGCPS. Does Mr. Murray have aspirations of being a superintendent?

What Do You Think About the "No Confidence" Vote By PGCEA? What Do You Think About the "No Confidence" Vote By PGCEA?

Is House At Home in PGCPS?

ASASP members please be informed that the vote of "no confidence" for Mr. House's leaderhip came directly from PGCEA. This union had absolutely, positively no knowledge of or participation in that vote. We definitely have some concerns and we would like to see some improvements from the House Administration on, but we were not involved. Of the four unions in the PGCPS only one has voted "no confidence, " to my knowledge.

If you feel so inclined, please chime in and let me know your thoughts at jeffery.parker@asasp.org. You know we don't own the rights to any clips used in this correspondence, but rather they are here to invoke thought.
