We have another busy and exciting week ahead! Please take a moment to read through all the important updates and reminders below.

🎉 9/10 Honor Choir Celebration

It’s been an exciting week of auditions for our Coppell Choir singers! On October 28th, the Region 31 9/10 Honor Choir Auditions were held at Euless Junior High for freshmen and sophomores.

We are extremely proud of all our singers who participated and represented Coppell with excellence. We’re thrilled to announce that 27 of our singers earned a chair in the 9/10 Honor Choir! 🎶

Our students continue to raise the bar and have once again set the record for the highest number of students earning a spot in the entire region.

🎤 Singing Assignments

As we prepare for our upcoming Winter Concert, please remember to check Schoology regularly for new singing assignments. Make sure all submissions are completed on time.

A friendly reminder that there will be no school on Tuesday, November 4th. Enjoy the day to relax and recharge!

🎶 Vivace at the Pep Rally – Thursday, November 6

Come cheer on our amazing Vivace singers as they perform at the pep rally on Thursday, November 6th!

🌟 Region 31 Honor Choirs Clinic & Concert

Congratulations again to our Region 31 Honor Choir singers!

• Friday, November 7: Clinic rehearsal at Birdville HS from 2–4 PM. Students will be excused from 3rd and 4th periods — please communicate with your teachers and plan for any missed work.

• Saturday, November 8: Region Clinic & Concert at Carroll Sr. High School (all day).

❄️ Winter Concert – Save the Date!

📆 Wednesday, December 4th at 7:00 PM

All choirs are hard at work preparing for our Winter Concert! We’re thrilled to present an evening filled with holiday spirit — featuring Rutter’s Gloria, Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus, and other seasonal favorites.

🎤 Singers: Your Dress Rehearsal will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd, from 5:00–8:30 PM. Please arrive on time and come prepared for a productive rehearsal!

🎟️ Vivace Fall Show – Tickets ON SALE NOW!

This year’s show, “Lost & Found,” will be an unforgettable night of music and storytelling.

CHS9 Singers: You will be excused from 3rd & 4th period

• 12PM - 12:30PM - Take A lunch

• 12:30PM: Come to CHS9 Choir room and check in with Mr. Lee

• 12:45PM - Depart CHS9

• 1:35PM - Arrive at Birdville HS and go to your sectioinal room

• 2PM - 4PM - Rehearsal starts

• 4:15PM - Depart Birdville HS

• 5:PM - Estimated arrival time at CHS

CHS Singers: You will be excused from 3rd & 4th period

• 12:02PM - 12:35PM - Take A lunch

Region Clinic and Concert - Everyone will come to CHS in the morning. Transportation ONLY provided in the morning.

• 7AM - Arrive in the CHS Choir Room for attendance

• 710AM - Depart CHS

• 7:45AM - Arrive at Carroll Sr. HS

• 8AM - 4PM - Clinic Begins

Things to bring:

• A black binder with your music HOLE PUNCHED and pencils (DO NOT USE YOUR CHOIR BINDER. We will provide a black binder if you don’t have one)

• There will be rolling racks available for you to hang your uniform. Since there will be many uniforms in the same area, it’s very easy for bags to get mixed up or taken by mistake. Please make sure your bag is clearly labeled with your name!

  • Black Tux, White dress shirt, BLACK DRESS SOCKS, & Black Dress shoes (Bow tie will provided after attendance at 7 am)

  • Black Choir dress and black flats (No pearls will be given)

Volunteer Communication Update
We wish Mrs. Conkovich all the best as she begins her maternity leave from September 15th to December 12th! We’re excited to welcome Ms. Lam as her long-term substitute!

During this time, our amazing VP of Events, Kit Ciura and Mary Alvarado, will serve as the Volunteer Coordinators. Please keep an eye out for emails from vpevents@coppellchoir.com for all future volunteer communications, and feel free to reach out to them directly with any questions about volunteering.

If you would like to become a choir sponsor or would like to gain more information regarding becoming a choir sponsor, please click on the line below for more information.

Parents have to opt in for health-related services as mandated by law. The clinic will not be able help them if this is not complete. If possible, please share this link with students and parents. 🎶 TMEA Region Auditions Recap 🎶

The TMEA Region Audition was held on Saturday, October 25th at Creekview High School, and we couldn’t be prouder of all our incredible Coppell Choir singers who participated and represented our program and community with excellence!

We are thrilled to announce that 28 singers and 1 alternate earned a place in the Region Mixed Choir and will advance to the 3rd round of the TMEA All-State auditions, Pre-Area! In addition, 32 more singers earned a spot in the Region District Choir.
