๐ Notes From Mr. Gillespie
What a great week at Hardin Park! Our students gave their very best during testing, worked hard to show what they have learned, and made all of us incredibly proud. Their determination, perseverance, and positive attitudes were inspiring to see.
We finished off the week with an amazing Kโ2 Field Day! A huge thank you goes out to Coach Eggers, Coach Bolick, and Coach Yandle for planning and leading such a fun and memorable event for our students. Their hard work and enthusiasm helped make the day a tremendous success.
I am looking forward to our two remaining Field Days next week as we celebrate the close of another wonderful school year.
As we move into the last week of school, I want to share how proud I am of our students and how much I appreciate our families and staff. Your support, encouragement, and partnership make Hardin Park such a special place. Thank you for helping us create a school community where students can learn, grow, and thrive. Letโs finish the year strong and enjoy these final days together!
๐ฏ EOG Retakes June 1 - 3
At Hardin Park, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to demonstrate what they know and show their continued growth. As we move through the final stretch of the school year, we want to highlight the importance of EOG retakes as a valuable opportunity for students.
EOG retakes are an important part of our accountability process, as they count toward both proficiency and student growth. More importantly, they provide students with a second chance to show their learning, confidence, and perseverance after receiving additional support and instruction.
We are proud of the effort our students are giving each day as they continue to push themselves academically. Teachers carefully review student data and will be reaching out to parents and guardians of students who are strong candidates for EOG retakes.
We appreciate the continued encouragement from our families and community as students work hard, stay focused, and finish the year strong.
