Applications for the PTSC Community Service Student Grants have been extended to January 31, 2026. If your student is interested in completing a community service project of their choice this school year, they can apply for a grant for $250 to help fund the project. Please see the application for more information.

2025-26 PTSC Community Service Student Grant Application

Sometimes January can get frustrating as we take one step forward-two steps back with the goals we set for ourselves. One small way to stay positive is to keep a note in your phone or in a journal of one thing each day that you did well. Researchers say that while also listing one thing to be grateful for is helpful, finding ways you are competent tends to make people feel happier even 3 months after they have stopped doing it. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that we have strengths, or that we are capable of doing good things. So for the next two weeks try this: write down one thing that went well, one thing that you did well, and one thing that you were grateful for that day. We are worth giving ourselves 5 minutes to pause, breathe and reflect amidst all the craziness. And it just might make you smile and feel a little proud of yourself.

PHOTO DONATIONS:

In the past few years, we have had so many people generously donate photos from their lives at home. We would love to have you share photos with us from life outside of the school building (July 2025-January 2026). We typically use photos of summer vacations, celebrations (birthdays, holidays), and free-time activities (hobbies, sports, relaxing, etc), but we would appreciate all photos.
