BACK to SCHOOL INFORMATION

We are thrilled to welcome all of our Longhorn students and families back to Jones Elementary for what promises to be an exciting and inspiring school year! We hope your summer was full of fun, relaxation, and meaningful moments. Our entire team and staff are energized and ready to begin a year full of learning, growing, and building strong connections.

This year, our schoolwide focus is all about bringing positive energy and good vibes to everything we do. Inspired by our new school-wide book, The Energy Bus by Jon Gordon, and The Energy Bus for Kids, we will encourage our students to take control of their journey by choosing kindness, showing gratitude, encouraging others, and staying positive even when challenges arise. We believe that positive energy is contagious, and together, we can create a school culture where every Longhorn feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.

**PRIZES AWARDED in AUGUST**

Online enrollment through Sylogist (formerly known as Wengage) has been open for a week now, and we appreciate everyone who has already taken the time to complete and submit their forms. We are working diligently to process all submitted enrollments and get students placed on class lists in preparation for Back-to-School Night. Please remember that in order for your child to be added to a teacher’s class list and officially confirmed, all documents must be uploaded and fully posted to the online enrollment system. If you are experiencing any difficulties with the process, we will have in-person enrollment support available this Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the school.
