A note from the principal's desk...

Good Afternoon RPI Families,

While our students may have been excited to not have school Friday, I know that a disruption like this can cause some stress on families when it comes to your own work schedules. Keeping that in mind, I wanted to take a few lines to give our teachers a HUGE shout out!! The conversations and planning around student experiences, student learning, student acceleration and student needs was inspirational, productive and valuable. We don't always have time to collaborate like this and took full advantage of the day. We will be better moving forward for your student(s) because of days like this.

Thank you for your understanding and grace when it comes to these types of days. HEADS UP: We will have a half day on Friday, October 28. School gets out at 10:55am!

As a reminder, we will not have Yoga after school tomorrow.

Please reach out if you have any questions!

Have a great week everyone!

Scott

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent / Teacher conferences will be held during the week of October 24. This year, we will offer a combination of both face to face and virtual conferences with in person conference nights being October 25 and/or 26th. Please look for communication for your individual teacher teams related to this.

Colder Weather Approaching

Students will stand outside the building for approximately 10 minutes every morning before the doors open. During that time, we often hear "I'm freezing," but it usually comes from the kid that is wearing shorts or no jacket. Please make sure they are dressed appropriately for this time of day. If you need assistance with warmer clothing, please let us know!

A message from our food service director

Please complete a school lunch application if your income has changed since you last filled one out or if you have not yet completed one this year. This information is super helpful for R-P funding, but also necessary for food service to have if an additional round of P-EBT cards go out. Complete the form online at lunchapp.com. THANK YOU!
