Every Day Counts!
Regular school attendance plays an important role in your child’s academic success, especially when it comes to reading. Research shows that students who miss fewer than 9 days in both kindergarten and first grade have a 64% chance of reading proficiently by third grade.
Every day at school provides opportunities to build reading skills, strengthen relationships, and develop important learning habits. Thank you, Emory families, for helping our students show up, learn, and lead!

Military Corner
Military families are invited to connect with their School Liaison by signing up to receive a weekly email. A School Liaison’s primary function is to serve as a conduit between parents, educators, and the command so military-connected children experience a seamless transition during the transfer between schools. Once settled, a School Liaison provides military families with up-to-date education and Navy resources available in support of PreK-12 students. To opt in to receive emails from your School Liaison, Mindy Hayes, email nbcslo@us.navy.mil or call 619-991-2509.
