The establishment of school councils is intended to help local boards of education by bringing parents and the community together with teachers and school administrators to create a better understanding of and mutual respect for each other's concerns, and share ideas for school improvement. School councils shall represent the community of parents and businesses.

The members of the school council are accountable to the constituents they serve and shall:

• Maintain a school-wide perspective on issues;
• Regularly participate in school council meetings (approximately six per year);
• Participate in information and training programs;
• Act as a link between the school council and the community;
• Encourage the participation of parents and others within the school community; and
• Work to improve student achievement and performance.

Each student who drives an automobile to school must register the vehicle by purchasing a parking permit. Parking permits cost $70.00 for the year. Parking will go on sale beginning July 11, 2022 through MyPaymentsPlus. Parking on campus is a privilege. Therefore, certain rules and regulations are expected of the student to maintain this privilege.

It is now time to schedule your senior portraits through Cady. You must have your portrait taken by Cady to be in the yearbook. If you have a new neighbor who hasn't enrolled their student(s) with Seckinger HS, please let them know that our Summer Registration Appointments are now available! All of the information is posted on our website under Parents/Students -> Summer Registration and Enrollment.

Our building is still under construction and not open to the public. We are hopeful for June. To support your child’s individual academic and athletic interests, we are offering multiple ways to connect with your family to address questions.
