The Tiger Times

Week of September 21, 2025
Good Evening Tigers,
This is Noel Keener, the proud principal of Ragsdale High School. Progress reports were printed and sent home last week. If you did not get the report, please log on to Campus Portal. If you have questions, please reach out to your child's teachers. Email addresses can be found on our website- go to Our School, then scroll to Our Staff on the right side of the page.
Peer Tutoring is back and will be held in the media center each Tuesday after school unless otherwise noted.
We need your help! Our clothing closet needs some updates! Please bring your new or gently used items to the main office. You can also see our newsletter and order directly from our Amazon Wishlist- these items will be mailed directly to the school.
Starting next week, our counselors will be meeting 1 on 1 with each senior to ensure they are on track to meet requirements and discuss plans after high school- Graduation from high school is the start of the journey!
Tuesday, Sept 30th starting at 8am, we will host Coffee with the Principal for our parents and guardians. Come on out and hear about all the great things your students are doing and more about the excellent opportunities Ragsdale offers!
October 9th Juniors will take the PSAT, Sophomores will take the YouScience Aptitude based Career Planning Assessment, Freshmen will engage in Enrichment Activities, and Seniors will have opportunities to engage in post high school opportunities like college visits, job shadowing, and career planning. We will have regular classes for 9,10, and 11 graders in the afternoon.
Thank you and have a great week, and, as always, TIGER PRIDE!

Clothing Closet- we need your help!
Our Clothing Closet in the Counseling Center is a quiet but powerful resource for our Tigers. Students come throughout the year knowing they can find what they need here, and we want to make sure it stays that way.
Right now, we are running very low and could use your help. We especially need:
• Girls’ T-shirts (sizes Small and Medium)
• Girls’ leggings (sizes Small and Medium)
• Girls’ underwear (all sizes needed, especially Small and Medium)
• Boys’ sweatpants (sizes Medium, Large, and 1X)
• Coats and hoodies (all sizes, with cold weather on the way)
• Large storage bins (to help with organization)
Every donation makes a real difference for a child who needs to feel comfortable, cared for, and ready for school. Thank you for always stepping up for our students. You make this possible.
See our flyer with an Amazon QR Code below (items on the list will be mailed directly to Ragsdale).
