Teacher Librarian

Andrea Bernasconi (she/her)

While this is my third year as the GLES librarian, I have been around the school for the past 8 years as a GLES parent and substitute teacher. Prior to my work at GLES, I was a teacher in Torrance, California and Harlem, New York. I have also taught in Shangahi, China and Tugela Ferry, South Africa. I have a Master's degree in International Education and have taught ELL as part of University of Washington's extension program.

Library Assistant

Simon (he/him)

Simon joined the GLES library team to support our on-line learning. He is looking forward to meeting all the GLES Dragons in person this year!

Simon is a lover of most genres, but he prefers books that make him laugh out loud. What's your favorite genre?
