West Belmar

Dear West Belmar Families,

The Bear Cubs are back! The school year is off to an incredible start! Our dedicated teachers and eager students have been working hard to establish daily routines, follow schedules, and make a smooth transition into the new school year. It has been wonderful to see our hallways filled with smiling faces, positive energy, and excitement for learning.

Thanks to our incredible PTA, many exciting activities and events are planned throughout the year to enrich our students’ educational experience and bring our school community together. We are grateful for the continued partnership and support of our West Belmar families!

Don’t forget about our school apparel sale! The sale begins September 14th, so now is the perfect time to show your West Belmar pride! You can find all your favorite WB gear at Sneaker Plus or by scanning the QR code that has been shared with the school community and is included below in this newsletter.

Please take note of these upcoming dates and events:

• Monday, September 21st: West Belmar School will be closed in observance of Yom Kippur.

• Tuesday, September 22nd: The PTA is bringing the Scarecrow Family back to West Belmar! The sale will begin on this date, so be sure to look for more information from the PTA.

• Friday, September 25th: Lifetouch Studios will be at West Belmar School for Fall Student Photos and Class Pictures. Make sure you dress your best, bring your smile, and get ready to capture some great memories!

• Wednesday, September 30th: We will recognize Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by wearing yellow or gold in support of children and families affected by childhood cancer.

We are so happy to have all of our students back in the Bear Cave for another fantastic year! We look forward to a year filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and many wonderful memories.
