STUDENT CELL PHONE BUILDING POLICY

A friendly reminder that students must have their cell phones off and stored in their locker. Students are permitted to check their phones at their locker, for messages from parents and guardians, between 5th and 6th periods.

Please be sure to call our main office at 248.956.3500 if you need to get an important message to your child during the school day.

We understand the importance of being able to communicate with your child at the end of the school day, but have also had many instances where cell phone use during the school day has adversely impacted the school learning environment.

Students who have their cell phones in their possession will have their cell phones taken by a school administer or designee and returned at the end of the school day. Additional cell phone infractions can result in disciplinary action being taken and/or a student not being allowed to bring a cell phone onto school property.

It is our hope that the before mentioned building policy meets everyone's needs and is a "win win" for all members of our school community.

Please take the time to remind your child, before the first day of school, about the importance of adhering to our cell phone building policy.
