MRI Family & Community Update

Week of September 15, 2025

MRI Family &Community UpdateWeek of September 15, 2025

What's ahead? What's ahead?

MRI Families,

Be sure to stay informed by checking your child's Schoology Homeroom page & the MRI Schoology page weekly. This is where you'll get classroom information, grades, lessons & activities. If you are not sure how to utilize the platform, we're here to help! Please call and ask for help.

MRI has completed the fall iReady diagnostic assessments for reading and math. We've also held our DRC (Data Review Committee) meetings, reviewing our students' academic successes and struggles. In the next few weeks, you will receive an iReady report for your child - reading and math. If your child is being supported through the intervention model, you will also receive a letter explaining the process. Thank you for your patience as we organize the information to share with you.

Mark your calendars!

  • PM Pick-up is 3:20-3:40pm in the back.

The afternoon bell rings at 3:20pm & we have brief announcements. Parent Pick-up & Bus Call

    immediately follow.

Be sure to have your ID! 😊

If you will be picking your child up each day, you should have a pick-up number. If you are picking your child up instead of riding the bus home, please PLAN AHEAD & SEND A NOTE when your child comes to school. If something comes up and a change is needed, please notify the office by NOON so we can place your child's name on the pick up list and inform the teacher.

If you are choosing to pick your child up each day and are frustrated by the car line…you can help!

    1. Please drive slowly while on campus. Students are loading/unloading vehicles & buses and staff members are helping to keep our traffic pattern open & moving.

    2. Please do not come into the back parking lot before 2:50pm. This is a safety concern because our last recess time ends at 2:50pm and we need a safe re-entry for our students and staff.

    3. Be sure you have your ID ready. Regular parent pick-up numbers should be displayed.

    Not sure how pick-up goes?

    1. Upon entering the back parking lot, vehicles will proceed around to the loading area. (marked by a star on map).

    2. If the back parking lot is full, cars will be directed to line up at the middle school.

    3. As cars exit the parking lot, cars from the middle school will be told to advance to the MRI back parking lot.

    4. Families will remain in their cars.

    5. A staff member will be looking for the parent pick up number assigned to student.

Staff members are REQUIRED to check IDs EVERYDAY
