The Winter Sports pep rally is scheduled for Thursday, Feb 13, this is also a half day. The bell schedule is posted below for clarity.

Winter Break begins February 14, we will see students back in the building on February 20.

We had a great time hosting our rising freshmen from Bluffton and McCracken Middle Schools

AP Statistics students bounced and caught tennis balls to record real data to then analyze. Students used various timed intervals and counted each ball that bounced and was caught. Students took the real-life data to create a linear regression equation and work through practice questions to prepare for the AP exam this spring!

This Valentine’s Day, show your seat time some love by coming to make it up!

It’s time to fall in love with getting back on track!

Student may wear crocs and jerseys for DJ's Day of Giving on Friday, February 21. Donations will be collected at the entrance and first block classes. Crocs Outlet in Tanger will offer 15% off to students/staff with school ID Feb 20-22.

We have 12 students with artwork on display at the annual SOBA Art Show in Bluffton throughout the month of February. Their items are also available for purchase.

Find your perfect prom dress made possible by the Junior Service League of Beaufort. On Saturday, February 22 from 1-4 pm, you can browse for a "new to you" prom dress just in time for prom season. This is totally FREE, no cost to you whatsoever. Take advantage of this amazing opportunity.

Remember, this award is now open to ALL high school students (9-12) that live in Bluffton. Volunteer hours must be earned between May 1 and April 30 of each calendar year, and served with a non-profit organization. The hours must be verified by an organizational representative and the student.

Bluffton High students are encouraged to use innerview.org to track service hours and Bluffton High will submit your verified hours prior to April 30th. Students who earn the award will be invited to a special recognition ceremony at Town Hall.

Three levels of award service:

Bronze – 50 to 100 hours

Silver – 101 to 200 hours

Gold – 201 or more hours

To ensure a safe and secure environment at BCSD athletic events, all spectators and athletes entering our venues will be asked to remove hoods or face coverings that obscure one’s identity, such as balaclava-style masks. This practice, which is common at collegiate athletic events, will help us maintain safety by ensuring individuals can be easily identified if needed.

Juniors:

January 16, 2025 was the last day to register for the ACT.

The ACT will be given on February 25, 2025

January 20, 2025 was the last day to register for the SAT.

The SAT will be given on March 5, 2025

Sophomores:

Pre ACT registration closed February 1st.

The Pre ACT will be given on February 25.

MLP Students:

ACCESS testing will continue on an individual student basis throughout the month of February. Please ensure students bring laptops and chargers to school every day.
