There is nothing anyone needs to do differently, but I wanted to make sure that staff was aware when they saw a group of people walking through the building. Please reach out with any questions.
Building and Grounds
Just a reminder on the below information as we kick off the school year
- If you have any custodial requests, please use the work order form.
- Just a reminder that large items in classrooms with tile floors should NOT be dragged across the floor. This scratches the newly waxed floors. Please reach fill out a work order form if you need items moved.

- Night shift Custodians: Joe (supervisor), Lenti, Besnik, Knight (2:30-11:00pm)
- White Boards in classrooms will be cleaned DAILY by custodians. If you would not like something erased/cleaned, please write "SAVE" on your white board. No outside cleaners can be used by staff. Custodians have approved chemical cleaners that only they can use.

Media Denial List 2025-2026
Here is our 2025-2026 Media Denial List. An email did go out to parents asking them if they would like to change their child’s permissions. The students on this list without a star, I have not heard back from which means they need to stay on this list. The children with the star have specifically said they want to remain on this list so please be mindful when taking pictures. Remember all pictures and videos that you would like on our school Instagram should be sent to Maggie, (text or email are both fine.)
Hallway Passes
At this point students should be making Minga passes to leave the classroom. However, all students should also have a physical pass when walking in the hallway. If students are walking around without one, they will be sent back to class. If you need new or more classroom passes, please let the front office know.
Student Allergy Reminder
The following message was included in our parent newsletter:
Due to students with significant allergies in our building this year, no sprays of any kind will be allowed in the building. This includes but is not limited to deodorant, perfume, body spray, cologne, etc. Administration will be very strict on enforcing this practice in order to protect the safety and health of our students. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.
This also includes classroom use of essential oils, fragrance spray/plug ins, etc. Including chemicals from home.

In order to ensure that Admin is able to proactively support meetings, we created a PLC schedule and MTSS schedule with the meeting day of the week, period, and location. Please see this here. We will discuss this in more detail in person.
