Principal's Corner
Hello FamiLEE,
Shout-out to our theatre and technical theatre magnets for an amazing production of their fall play "The Syringa Tree" this week! We wish them the best of luck as they take this play to the upcoming district Trumbauer theatre competition. We will have makeup testing for the 10th grade PreACT, the 11th grade Mock ACT, and the 12th Grade ACT WorkKeys tests this Tuesday, October 22. If your child was absent last week, it is very important that they be here on time Tuesday to take these mandatory assessments.
Please send excuse notes to LHS.Attendance@hsv-k12.org. We are working hard to meet our goal of a 95% attendance rate. Please help us with this effort.
Finally, please help us by making sure your young adult is meeting dress code daily. We do not want this to be our focus, but we do have a dress code and everyone is expected to follow it.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Kitrise Torain
LHS Principal
