Message from Mrs. Schneid
Titan Families,
As we head into these last two weeks before Winter Break, we want to share some highlights from an amazing week at BPE!
Our students loved shopping for their loved ones at the PTSA-sponsored Holiday Shop—a huge thank-you to all of our incredible volunteers who gave their time to make this experience possible for every child.
On Friday, we were treated to a wonderful performance by the BMHS Orchestra, filling our building with winter cheer. And on Thursday, our mischievous friend Brownie the Elf arrived at BPE! He’s been popping up in unexpected places, and our students are having so much fun trying to spot him each day.
We also held our December Town Hall Meetings, and we are thrilled to celebrate some exciting progress—behavior referrals are decreasing and attendance is improving. These positive trends make a real difference in academic success, and we’re proud of our students for their continued effort.
A quick reminder: District Holiday Spirit Week is December 15–19. BPE has flipped Monday and Friday—
-
Monday: Flannel Day
-
Friday: PJ Day for our Polar Express Winter Fest, sponsored by PTSA on December 19.
Stay warm, enjoy the season, and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
Your BPE Team
Warmly,
Mrs. Schneid
Ms. Frimel
Mr. Carnabuci

One Book, One School - Success!
December 5, 2025
🌟 We Finished The One and Only Ivan! 🌟
Most classes wrapped up The One and Only Ivan this week, and it’s been a wonderful reading journey! Students connected with Ivan, Ruby, Bob, and Stella while exploring themes of friendship, courage, kindness, and finding your voice.
📚 Reminder:
Our One Book, One School Choice Boards are due!
Complete 3 activities to earn stickers and a Book Vending Machine coin.
Complete the whole board for a One and Only prize!
We love seeing your creativity—please keep sending photos to crump@bereaschools.org or have your child bring their work to school. Projects will be displayed in our hallway showcase.
Thank you for making this school-wide reading adventure a success!
Our BPE students and families have been spreading kindness all around our community—just like Ivan! From decorating kindness rocks with uplifting messages, to writing thoughtful notes for others, to creating kindness jars filled with positive words, our community is showing how small acts can make a big difference. We’re so proud of the compassion and creativity our families continue to share!
Families have been researching animals, designing and building creative habitats, hunting for new and interesting words, and growing vocabulary trees filled with the language they discover. The excitement and curiosity happening beyond the classroom walls is inspiring—thank you to our amazing families for supporting such meaningful learning at home!
These lucky readers found stickers in their books and cashed them in for book-vending machine tokens!

Student Fees are now posted
Student Fees are now due and posted in Infinite Campus
Payments may be made in person at BPE using Cash or Check , or through Infinite Campus. Instructions are provided below.
Families are asked and encouraged to complete the Income Eligibility Verification Application to access additional benefits, including increased state and federal funding for staff, equipment, and supplies; discounts on fees for academic assessments; and access to local scholarships, tuition assistance for dual credit and AP courses, and discounts on college application fees. By completing the application, you help the district continue to provide valuable resources and opportunities for every student.
Online Payments
Online payment is our preferred method for parents and guardians to pay for school fees, cafeteria payments, and more.
The Infinite Campus Online Payment system is a payment processing
solution that allows you to submit food service and school-related fees 24/7
via the Parent Portal. Payments can be made for one child or the entire
household.
The Fees tool provides a list of all fees assigned to you. Fees may include things like a lab fee for a science course, a fee for a field trip or the cost of an athletic activity. Fees that are still owed and fees that were paid appear in this list, followed by the ongoing balance for all fees.
If you are unable to use the online payment system, please contact the
treasurer's office at (216) 898-8300.
Titan Store is open on Mondays and Wednesdays- 2:00- 2:30
