A Day of Peace

After living through the devastation of World War II, Dr. Montessori looked to the children as a hope and a promise for a peaceful future. She applied her research and observations of children to the idea that we can achieve world peace if we all do our part in the areas within our influence. At Cowles Montessori, we honored her vision on her birthday with a Day of Peace.
