Importance of Attendance

Every day counts! Regular school attendance is one of the most important factors in a student’s success. When students miss school, they miss valuable learning time, opportunities to participate in class discussions, and moments to connect with their peers. Even a few absences can add up quickly and make it harder to keep up. We understand that illness and emergencies happen, but whenever possible, please help ensure your child is at school, on time, every day. Together, we can build strong habits that set our students up for lifelong success!

A Reminder About Food and Drink at School

Lately, we’ve noticed some students bringing canned whipped cream to lunch and throughout the school day. While it may seem like fun, this item is not appropriate for school and will not be allowed. As a reminder, our school policy states that food and drinks—other than water—are not permitted in the middle school building. Any food or drink (besides water) brought into classrooms or hallways will be thrown away. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, clean, and focused learning environment for all students.
