As we get closer to the start of the school year, I wanted to present you with some key information. In this newsletter you will find information on the following:

ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB
What is an Athletic Booster Club?
- The Athletic Booster Club (ABC) is a donation based program to support each campus in areas of our Athletics Programs as well as enhanced Physical Education for all grades.
- ALL families will be asked to join the Athletic Booster Club with a $100.00 per child donation to the program (does not guarantee a spot on any sports team) by October 14th.
- Funds will help supply equipment for PE and help cover operating costs to run the sports programs.
What does the $100.00 donation guarantee for sports registration?
- Each student who’s family donates $100.00 PER STUDENT prior to the deadline is guaranteed a registration fee of $25.00 PER SPORT, PER STUDENT.
- That is a break even point compared to previous years for one sport, a savings of $125.00 for two sports, $275.00 for three sports, and $375.00 for four sports, PER STUDENT.
What if I do not donate by Oct. 14th but my child still wants to play sports?
- The registration fee will be $125.00 to participate PER CHILD, PER SPORT
- Parents will need to cover the cost of the uniform. This varies per sport. Please see the RevTrak link for more accurate pricing.
What are the benefits of this new registration fee program and booster club?
- This would allow the sports programs an opportunity to offer FREE or DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION for staff members and volunteer coaches if they have a child participating (would still need to cover the cost of the uniform[s]) {FREE REGISTRATION is limited to one child per sport season}
- This would also give a budget allowance to each PE Department for new equipment and needed improvements.
How do I sign up to become a member of the Athletic Booster Club (ABC)?

PSL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Below, you will find all the links to the necessary paperwork for the Plato Sports League. A sports physical will be required for your child to participate. The form is also below so you can print it off and give to your child's doctor. Please note the following:
- In order for your child to tryout this year, the Pre-Registration form MUST be filled out. This will allow administration to check behavior and grades prior to the tryout and provide a roster for the coach to use.
- If there is no record of this form being completed, your child will not be permitted to tryout for a sport.
- The form will close (2) days prior to any tryout to allow administration time to perform a check on those students.
RevTrak Payment Portal
This year, we have updated a few things in RevTrak:
- Families are able to purchase the uniforms, and can purchase up to (4) if they would like.
- Families can also find the paperwork in RevTrak
- Families will be able to join the Athletic Booster Club as well
