Weekly Scout Report ~ Feb. 7, 2025

With the temperature dropping, please remember to send your child to school with a coat. If able to we will be outside.

We will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Tuesday, February 11th. Your child can dress up like they are 100 years old. We are excited to see what everyone comes up with!

We are also celebrating the 101st day of school. Your child can dress as a dalmatian. We look forward to seeing all the fun outfits!

Nike PTO will meet Wednesday, February 12 at 6:30 pm. Dr. Schwierjohn will be at the meeting to share information about Prop M. We hope you can attend.

We hope you can attend Nike's PTO meeting on Feb. 12th at 6:30 p.m.

Dr. Schwierjohn, Meramec Valley R-III Superintendent will be at the meeting to discuss Prop M. We hope you can attend!

If you have a student entering Kindergarten in the 2025-2026 school year, they will need to have a screening done. Times and dates are listed above. Follow the QR code to schedule.

We want to inform you of slight adjustments to the 2024-2025 school calendar.

Friday, February 21st will be a full school day for students.

Monday, February 24th will now be a school day for students. The last day of the second trimester has been moved to Thursday, February 27th.

Friday, February 28th will be a professional development day for teachers and students will not attend school on this date

Trimester 2 report cards will be available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal on Tuesday, March 4th.

We aim to foster strong communication and partnerships with our families. Parent/Teacher conferences will take place the week of March 3rd - March 7th. Teachers will be contacting the parents of students facing academic challenges. If you don’t hear from a teacher but would like to schedule a conference, please feel free to call or email, and they will find a convenient time for you that week.

Do you know someone 50+ who would be interested in helping a child learn to love reading and learning? Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring pairs volunteers ages 50+ with children in grades K-3 to work one-on-one each week as their tutors, mentors and friends. They can tutor one child or several, on a one-on-one basis each week throughout the school year.
