7th & 8th Grade Orientation

Get ready for an exciting new school year at Las Colinas Middle School. This orientation is designed to help you and your student prepare for a successful start. You'll have the opportunity for you and your guardian to pick up your Chromebook, get your locker assignment, purchase necessary items, and meet key school staff.

To streamline the process, parent and student please arrive at the top of the hour based on your student's last name.

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Students with last names starting with A-H

10:00 AM- 11:00 AM: Students with last names starting with I-P

11:00 AM - 12:00 AM: Students with last names starting with Q-Z

Please allow approximately one hour to complete the orientation process.

Administration Orientation: Learn about what it means to be a Mustang and get important school updates.

• Location: Outside lunch tables
• Timing: Brief orientation at the start of each hour

Student School Photo: Capture this special moment.

Purchasing Station - Purchase PE clothes and locker locks.

Chromebook Pickup - Collect your 1:1 Chromebook.

Locker Assignment - Receive your locker number and pick up purchased locks.

Yearbook Purchase - Purchase the yearbook for $35 (separate check required).

PTSA - Learn how to get involved and support Las Colinas Middle School.

LCMS PE clothes are not required. Students may wear a grey t-shirt and black gym shorts.
