CHESS CLUB CHANGE

Chess Club Families,

Due to the popularity of Chess Club, we will divide the club starting next week. On Wednesday November 4, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students will have Chess Club. And the next week on November 11, 4th and 5th grade students will have Chess Club.

This change should benefit all club members, so thanks for your flexibility! If your student is interested in joining Chess Club, they can pick up a permission slip from Mr. Mark.

LITERARY PUMPKIN CONTEST WINNER!

VETERAN SUBMISSION DEADLINE TODAY!

Our 3rd graders are hard at work preparing for our upcoming Veterans Day Music Program! We would love to involve our school community by honoring the brave men and women in your families who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

1. Invite a Veteran Guest to the 3rd Grade Music Program on Thursday, Nov 5 at 6:00 pm in the Schumacher Gym.

If you have a veteran or active-duty service member in your family, we cordially invite them to attend our performance as an honored guest! We will have a special moment during the show to recognize and thank them for their service.

2. "Wall of Honor" Photo Submissions

We are creating a Wall of Honor display outside the stage area to celebrate our military heroes. If you have a family member who has served, please send in a photocopy of their picture along with the info below. If you prefer to email a digital copy, please send it to your student's teacher. Please send photocopies or digital photos rather than original, irreplaceable family photographs.

Please submit by October 30.
