8th grade Boys vs Swan Valley 2/28
Last night the 8th Grade Huskies competed in their last games of the season. The B Team managed to pull off their 5th win of the year by a score of 36 to 10. Hemlock played their best team game with 10 points from Noah Van Haitsma, 8 points from Grady Galbraith, 6 from William Foss, 5 from Colton Siler and Eddie Dearman. Excellent season boys.
The A team lost a tough contest to Frankenmuth by a final of 63 to 50. After a slow start, and some defensive changes, the Huskies battled with a really solid Frankenmuth team. Hemlock was led by Wyatt Launstein with 21 points, Xavier VanWagner with 14, and Gavin Schmidt with 8, while being led defensively by Drew Genow and Mason Lavigne. Great year A team.
Special shout out to Jericho Orange for his diligent stat tracking all year. A true legend of the game.
