Arcadia Dual Enrollment application deadline

Current 10th & 11th grade students, you may be eligible for Arcadia's Dual Enrollment program for the upcoming Fall semester, where you can earn high school and college credit. Please see the slideshow below, especially slide #7 for application instructions. The deadline to apply is May 16.

Nominations Open: 2025-26 Palumbo Home & School Association Board | Accepting Nominations until May 23
Academy at Palumbo strives to provide students a strong education in preparation for college and beyond. The school's success is dependent on having dedicated teachers, administrators, staff and a strong and engaged Home & School Association (HSA).

The HSA has a few board vacancies for 2025-2026, and we are seeking candidates to join us. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative and dedicated group of families, students, and staff united by a common goal to support the Academy at Palumbo community and to enhance the educational experience of Palumbo students.

Congratulations to Erik Wiessmann and Serge Sherstyuk who were honored at the Accelerate Philly Awards on Friday for having perfect attendance in the 2023-24 school year! Palumbo was awarded for top Biology achievement in the 2023-24 school year. Shout out to the Biology Teachers!!!

Celebrations are in order for 25 juniors and seniors who were awarded with the Seal of Biliteracy! These students have passed the English Keystone and another language test to be receive the Seal. Some of them scored even high enough to be recognized by the PA State!

Congratulations to Jayden Gordy and Eric Amabile for making the All Public League First Team for baseball. Additional shout outs to Owen Davis and Wes Dingman for making the All Public League Second Team! - MR. REY

*We are encouraging all parents and guardians to sign up for the Parent & Family Portal. This allows parents/guardians to have access to valuable information about your child's education. With the portal, you are able to view grades, track test scores, see attendance, view immunization records, set communication preferences, and access report cards.

You can visit https://www.philasd.org/face/#parentportal to register. If you have any questions, please contact the Main Office.

You may use this electronic form to submit an excuse for your child's absence from school within three days of the absence. A doctors note must be provided after three consecutive days of absence. After 9 parental excuses, a doctors note will be required. Be sure to complete each section below to ensure the excuse is accepted. Written notes are also accepted in the main office. All request are subject to administrative approval.
