Message for the Week: Message for the Week:

    Message from Mr. Tejkl

    When you are tired...

    Good morning!

Happy last week of March! The time has been going fast (to me at least) and it seems like we are continuing to fly through the days as schooling is continuing to grow and activities continue to roll. Keep you head above water and keep floating along. When the strength returns to begin swimming forward, do so when it permits!

I'm tired. There is no ifs/ands/buts about it. This time of year is a challenge as the weather can't decide what season it wants to be, attitudes can fluctuate as fast as feeding Gremlins past midnight (kids, ask your parents about this reference), and adversity seems to be always mounting on top of each other. There is no easy way to get around it and it is foolish to deny that we are tired (physically, mentally, or all of the above). However, we still have the power to choose our attitude, remember your why, and continue to do what is right by our kids and the people around us.

Throughout our days, we will struggle. It is part of life. The struggle is what makes us who we are. Those adverse situations that life throws at us builds our character and challenges us be who we want to be. There are always choices or paths that present themselves that a decision must be made. There is no right or wrong at the time but there is always reflection. You can't change the past but you can continue to live in the present and build for the future. With that, comes time and energy. As your energy depletes, find what "fills your cup" and do things that help push you to full strength. There is nothing wrong with admitting it because it happens to us all. Try to remember to stay within the mind frame of calmness and take the time to refuel when needed.

Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you tomorrow!

Quote of the week to reflect on:

"Every time you feel tired, remind yourself of why you are doing what you are doing and keep going."
