First Food Drive This Friday!

Help us kick off the year by supporting our local community!
- Send contributions in with your student any day during the week leading up to the food drive.
- Label your bag with your student’s teacher’s name so your class gets credit in the Can Man Competition!
- We also welcome personal care items, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, and more.
- Please note: We cannot accept glass containers, perishable items, or cash contributions.

Pajama Day: Cozy Up & Show Your School Spirit on Friday, Oct. 30th!
Get ready to join us for a fun, comfy day as we celebrate Pajama Day on Friday, 10/30!
Wear Your Favorites: Put on your cozy pajamas, plush lounge pants, or simply wear your favorite comfortable clothing.
Keep It School Appropriate: Please make sure all pajamas meet normal school dress code standards—wear proper footwear and ensure sleepwear is full-coverage and appropriate for classroom activities and recess.
To keep the focus on cozy comfort, No Accessories, face paint, makeup, toys, or stuffed animals should be brought to school.
Election Day Bake Sale – Volunteers Needed!
Election Day provides a great opportunity for the PTO to raise money for field trips and student enrichment. Please consider signing up to help staff the table on Election Day, or whip up some home-baked or store-bought goods for us to sell! If baking your own, please provide an ingredient list and individually wrap items.
Donations can be dropped off on November 3rd, or in the PTO room on November 2nd. Sign up to volunteer with Sign Up Genius here or email Katie Dick at kldick19@gmail.com.
Mark Your Calendars: November 12th
Class Pictures: All classes will have their group photos taken.
Picture Retakes: Available for students who were absent on the original picture day or would like a retake.
Save the Dates for Friday Night Live
Friday Night Live is a Brooks-sponsored open mic night for Brooks students. It's really fun and supportive! Students show up to perform and/or support their friends.
This year Ms. Sullo is hoping to do sign-ups the week before to get an idea of numbers while also holding spots for last minute, at the door sign ups. More info to come.
It's important to note that this is not a drop-off event.
