Dear Parents

🍂 Happy Almost Fall! 🍁

We are looking forward to the first offical day of Fall on Monday! We are supposed to have a "mini" cold front come through that night! We cannot wait for those cooler temps! Even having recess at 9:30 in the morning hasn’t saved us from the heat. 🫠

We've had a great 6th week of school! It's crazy to think that October is right around the corner. Our time together is already off to a speedy start!

This past week has been a mix of reviewing amazing things we've been learning and introducing new content! In reading, the kiddos are getting so good at recognizing our spelling patterns from our blending lines in the texts and books they are reading. It's so fun to watch their little faces light up as they realize they know the patterns and sounds like "th, sh, ck" in print they read. Ask your sweet kiddo if they can read some of the patterns from their blending lines when you're out and about at restaurants in menus or labels in grocery stores. It's such a great way to connect their learning from school to real life environments. Math has been all about different ways to make numbers and composing and decomposing numbers in multiple ways. Their little minds are absorbing so many new things every day! Be sure to ask them about their learning every day! 😊

We hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and we can't wait to see your littles ones next!
