Take a guess at the number of Candy Corn in the jar! Enter your name in the library with your guess. The person with the closest guess will take home a bag of candy corn and a new book! The game will begin Wednesday, October 1st, and ends Thursday, October 15th.

The winner will be announced on Friday, October 16th!

It's fall and Mrs. Gee needs some colorful Pumpkins to decorate the Library. All students are welcome to participate in this Pumpkin coloring contest. Drop off your finished picture with your teacher or in the Library.

Two students from each grade level (K & 1st) will be chosen as the winner and will win a new book!

The coloring contest will begin Tuesday, October 6th and ends Friday, October 23rd.

The winner will be announced on Thursday, October 29th! Good Luck!

Grab a blank bookmark from the library to color and decorate. This is yours to keep!

Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to OES! Studies show that kids read more when they choose books for themselves. And fostering a love of independent reading leads to a wide variety of benefits—including academic success and improved mental health.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Book Fair:

Dates: November 9th – 13th , 2026.

Mon. – 7:30am – 3:00pm

Tues. – 7:30am – 7:00pm

Wed. 7:30am – 2:00pm

Thurs. 7:30am - 3:00pm (Open late for Omro Family STEAM Night!)

Fri. - 7:30am - 1:30pm

While you’re there, set up a Book Fair eWallet, the digital payment account that allows you to

shop for books at the Fair without cash. Then share your eWallet link so friends and extended family can add funds. When you fund an eWallet, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a giving initiative called Share the FairTM. Your contributions directly support our students who need help buying books from the Fair.

We will be open late on Tuesday, November 10th for Parent Teacher Conferences. Stop by from 3:30pm - 7:00pm!
