A Huge Thank You to Our Grade 4 & 5 Bus Volunteers!

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our Grade 4 and 5 Bus Volunteers for their outstanding service throughout the school year. Day after day, in all types of weather, these student leaders were out at the buses helping ensure that our students boarded safely and responsibly at the end of each day.

Their commitment, responsibility, and dedication to serving our school community did not go unnoticed. Thank you for being such positive role models and for helping make St. Elizabeth Seton a safer place for everyone.

Great job, Bus Volunteers! We are proud of you! 🚌👏💙

A big THANK YOU to Diane Gardipy, the Red Deer Catholic Indigenous Education Team, and our Grade 2 and Grade 4 classes for helping set up the Mihkwahp in our Learning Commons. Diane also shared Indigenous history and helped our students learn about the significance of National Indigenous Peoples Day, which is celebrated on June 21. It was a meaningful day of learning, reflection, and appreciation for Indigenous culture and traditions.

Counselling Counselling

A message from our school counsellor…

Excitement is a wonderful emotion that helps children look forward to special events and experiences. At times, big excitement can feel overwhelming, making it hard to focus, wait patiently, or stay calm. Helpful strategies include taking deep breaths, using positive self-talk, moving your body, talking about feelings, and practicing patience through small waiting activities. Learning how to manage excitement helps children enjoy special moments while still making thoughtful choices and staying regulated.

SES is welcoming Linda Alberg and her Companion Dog Daisy to our Seton community every Monday morning 9:00 - 10:30. Daisy is a Cockapoo Poodle cross who loves spending time with children. She is a calm and loving dog, and we are thrilled to have her join our Seton Family. Daisy will join us in the library to help provide affection, comfort and support to our students, while also developing skills in self-regulation, decreasing stress and anxiety, increasing communication skills and promoting positive interactions.
