A Message from the Principals A Message from the Principals

Good Morning Muraski Families,

The warm weather is coming and hopefully, it is here to stay. Even if that brings some April Showers! We wrapped up our first week of ELA testing this week, have a week off, then get into math the following week! The kids have worked incredibly hard and have been very resilient in their efforts and with their attitudes.

We get to enjoy a long weekend for the holiday, so I hope you get to spend some time with your families this weekend. Remember, there is no school tomorrow because of Good Friday.

As we end April and get into May, there are going to be several opportunities to volunteer and be a part of our school. We look forward to continue to provide learning opportunities and build memories with our students as the weeks fly by at Muraski.

Sincerely,

Mike Griffen

Reminder of Upcoming Testing: Grades 3, 4, and 5 Reminder of Upcoming Testing: Grades 3, 4, and 5

It is that time of year, where students have the opportunity to show what they know and have learned throughout the school year based on the State Require Assessments in English Language Arts, Math, and Science (5th Grade Only). We know that our students perform best when they are well rested, have a good breakfast, and approach testing with a positive attitude where they put their in best effort. Please support us by helping your child get a good night sleep, eat breakfast, and remind them with a good attitude and their best effort, they will do their best work on the OST.

School Fees School Fees

As a reminder, all school fees that have not been paid are now considered past due. To check the balance and pay outstanding school fees, go to Pay Schools Central by clicking HERE. In addition to Pay Schools Central, school fees can be paid by cash/check to your student’s building secretary or with the Treasurer's Office. If you have questions related to this, please contact the building secretary or Melissa LePage (mlepage@scsmustangs.org) within the Treasurer's Department. As we are approaching a new school year, as well as the start of fall sports, per Board of Education policy, the consequences for outstanding prior year school fees will prohibit students from participating in any school extracurricular activities (i.e., athletics, student council, school clubs, etc.), field trips, and school sanctioned dances / events that require a purchased ticket.
