Greetings Gearity Families:

Kalahari Fundraiser Ends on the 13th! Mrs. Smith is closing out ticket sales for Kalahari next Friday. Please reach out to her if you are planning to participate. All funds go to support classroom activities and field trips.

3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Interims: Students in the intermediate grades are currently taking Reading, Math and Science interims. The assessments use challenging released item OST questions to help us know who has mastered quarter 3 content and who needs additional support. Please reinforce with your students the need to do their best and take their time. We will start taking the Ohio State Tests the week of April 13th.

Kindergarten Registration: Thanks to all the families that attended Kindergarten Information Night. I am including the link to the registration page so anyone with a future kindergarten student can start the registration process. We did have families ask about the Intradistrict transfer process and you can find that information on the registration page. The process will open for the next school year sometime next week.

Conference Scheduling is underway! Conferences are March 19th from 1-7pm and March 20th from 8:15 - 11:30. We encourage in person conferences, but will make video conferencing available if that works best for your schedule. Students will not be in attendance on conference days! Teachers should have sent you information for scheduling conferences.

Free Family Ice Skating: Join us on Saturday, March 14th from 5:30 - 7:00 at the Cleveland Heights Rec Center. Mr. Sullivan has arranged for all Gearity families to get free ice skates and ice time for the event. Whether you are a novice or an expert, this is a great way to connect with our school community and possibly experience something new. This is our second year of hosting the event and we hope to continue to have a strong turnout.
