Proud Panther Recognition
We have a new recognition during PROUD redemption week that occurs every month. During each redemption week, teachers are able to nominate a student that have demonstrated what it means to be a PROUD Panther BEYOND a proud gram. It is called The Proud Panther Shout Out! Not only do students get recognized on PNN, they also get a $10 amazon gift card for putting their best foot forward and showing what it truly means to be a PROUD Panther! Way to go students! Below are the PROUD Panthers! A big thank you to Price's HSC and CSEA for funding this new recognition!

If your child is classified as an English Learner, they will take the Summative English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) this spring. The Summative ELPAC measures how much progress your child is making in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. For more information, please see https://www.smore.com/duekw-summative-elpac.
Homework Center
The new Semester starts Tuesday, January 16th. Let's start the new year with great grades!
Does your student need a quiet place to study and do homework? Price has the answer! Homework Center runs every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3-4pm. 6th, 7th and 8th graders will meet in the library. Students will need to turn in a permission slip directly to the office or their Homework Center teacher.
Garden Art and Bench Request
Does anyone have the resources and time to maybe build and donate some abstract art and/or a couple of benches for our garden, please?
Attached are some examples of art (doesn’t have to be these designs but they do need to be vertical in nature of design). The art piece, if possible, should be about 6 feet tall and about 2 feet wide. Materials can be metal or anything that’ll work and look pretty outdoors.
The benches should be about 6 feet long and about 2 feet wide and be able to withstand the outside elements. If you are able to or know of anyone, please let us know. Thank you! Pricehscpresident@gmail.com
