We have a great lineup of after-school clubs staring this week! We hope you had a chance to grab a spot in the club of your child's choice and if not - we will be back with a new session of clubs in the winter. These PTO-sponsored offerings provide enrichment opportunities for students and help support our work in the school community.
Clubs begin this week, September 8-12, and run through the week of October 6-10. All clubs run from 2:30-3:45pm and are for 5 weeks (exception: French club which runs 6 weeks). Students will be dismissed directly to their club. If your student will not be attending on a specific day, you must contact the Hollymead front office (hesoffice@k12albemarle.org) to make a dismissal change; otherwise no change in dismissal is required for club attendance. If there is a change in who will be picking up your child, please let the club facilitator know ahead of time.
To avoid conflicts with Lakeside traffic, students will be dismissed from the auditorium doors at 3:45pm. If you pick up your child as a walker, you can meet them by the sidewalk near the auditorium doors. If you pick up your child by car, please turn into the parking lot where the buses drop off.
