Did you know that KAES is listed as a charity with smile.amazon.com? This means all of your purchases through Amazon can help support KAES, but you have to select KAES as your charity of choice and then make sure you use smile.amazon.com for all your Amazon purchases. Just click on the title above or type in smile.amazon.com in your URL and select Keene Adventist Elementary School. You will use the same account you already have. The only thing that is different is the way you enter Amazon.

Experience is a great teacher. This week the 8th grade participated in a simulation of what it might have been like to immigrate to America in the 1900's. Each student came dressed in their best 1900's wardrobe and was given a name and background information and then began the immigration process. Students were required to visit five screenings while staying in character and answering questions with the hope of being allowed into America and not deported. It was a successful experience for most students.

This year the 6th grade class decided to use money raised from their annual walkathon to help with the gymnaisum building project. After deciding their goal, each student sought out to get sponsorships for walking 10 miles. Thank you 6th grade for bringing us that much closer to our goal of a new gymnasium.
