Hello Quantum Families,
Hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break and are ready to tackle the last seven and a half weeks. Time will fly by as we have testing, Genius Hour Showcase, Expo Night and our 10 Year Anniversary Celebration, Promotion, and end of the year fun!
CAASPP tests are given statewide and provide an opportunity to measure the skills of all students against the same academic standards. Given online, the tests are computer-adaptive, allowing a more precise measurement of individual skills. Parents can use their student’s ELA or mathematics results as one of many indicators of their child’s performance. Our staff uses these results to inform our grade level instruction and compare our school's performance toward achieving our state standards.
Our testing window is April 24-May 9th. This week students will take the Math Computer Adapted Test and the Math Performance Task. Please send students to school on time with their charged iPads. Students should eat a healthy breakfast and get a good night’s sleep. During testing, we are required to collect personal electronic devices prior to the start of the test. This includes cell phones, wireless headphones, and smart watches. Thank you for your support!
Our staff has been preparing students all year with grade level content so students are prepared to persevere on these tests. Please give your Quark lots of encouragement on these days so they have the confidence to rock the test!
On Wednesday, May 28th from 5:30 - 7pm we’ll be celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary in conjunction with our Expo Night!

This event is open to the public and our staff will be showcasing our Explore and Elements classes. We’ll also have pizza available on a first come, first served basis courtesy of PTA and ZA Mobile Pizzeria. Hope to see you there!
