Crawford County Schools have depleted their allotment of COVID-19 rapid tests. The Indiana Department of Health has no plans to make tests available to schools due to shortages nationwide. Therefore, students who have two or more symptoms of COVID-19 or one symptom that is a fever, excruciating headache, or loss of taste and smell will be sent home and treated as positive. Students will be allowed to return to school on day 6 as long as they are symptom free for 24 hours without medication. If your student is currently quarantined from school, he/she may return to school on day 6 without evidence of a negative test result.

COVID Screening Guidelines

Families will self-screen every morning before boarding a bus or arriving at school.

All students will be temperature screened upon entering the building.

Students who utilize special transportation will be temperature screened prior to entering the bus. The goal is to keep healthy students in school and screen out symptomatic students.

COVID Quarantine Student Guidelines

Any close contact must be quarantined if they are unmasked indoors (lunch, etc.).

This includes any student who has a COVID positive case in their home.

Anyone fully vaccinated or within 90 days of a positive test result will not be quarantined.

Parents will be notified if their child is a close contact.

All paper/pencil assignments are due upon the return to school. eLearning Assignments are due by Thursday of each week. If your child needs assistance or has questions, please contact the teacher or call the school.

ELearning for Speech Students:

While we take a step back from school on Monday and Friday I am offering speech Google Meet sessions to talk, tell stories, answer questions and to check in to see how some of you are doing with your sounds or language. I will send an invite to the google classroom you are in and to your email address. Once you get into your speech classroom you can click on the meet link and I will be there at your given time. You can jump in any time in that hour long spot. This is not mandatory but could be informative, therapeutic or just fun. I am also available by telephone during school hours from 8:30-2 and my email is mtracy@cccs.k12.in.us. The following meet times will be available:
