Dear CES Families,

We had a very successful first four days of school! It felt like the students never left as they easily settled into their routines and rejoined their friends! Now they can have a few days to catch up on some sleep and enjoy these last few days of summer! Bravo to our teachers who performed a hilarious and profound dramatization of the book Bear in a Bathrobe for our entire school community! Following the play, students were asked to look for examples of helpfulness, confidence, and compassion in the story. These three traits will serve as our theme for the year at COL and each and every day. Please read the following message from the CES school board. Have a great weekend!

Welcome Back from the CES School Board!

Now that the 2025/26 school year is underway, the School Board is resuming our regular meeting schedule. We are inviting parents to be a part of the discussion of the future of CES. During our next meeting, on September 3rd, we have several topics of interest regarding the future direction of our school:

  • School Principal Search

  • Continuous Improvement Plan

  • School Board Goals

In addition, School Board meetings are generally scheduled for 6pm on the first Wednesday of each month. So if you are interested in a specific topic or would just like to learn more about what goes into running a school, please join us!
