CSD Weekly Update

WINTER CONCERT AT WILLIAM TENNENT HIGH SCHOOL
Last night, the William Tennent auditorium came alive with the sounds of the season as Mr. Abrahamson and Mr. Seifert led our students in a truly spectacular performance. Their beautifully arranged program showcased remarkable vocal and instrumental talent, featuring beloved holiday classics, fresh modern interpretations, and traditional pieces from around the world.
We are incredibly proud of our dedicated staff and talented student performers, and we are grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating their hard work and artistry.

Coat Distribution at Klinger Middle School Brings Warmth to Local Families
Klinger Middle School, in partnership with Magic Charities, brought warmth and support to the community this week through a successful coat distribution event that provided more than 250 coats to students and families in need.
The annual initiative, held in the school’s lobby, offered coats in a wide range of sizes—from children through adult—to ensure that every family could find what they needed as winter approaches. Thanks to generous donations and the coordination of Magic Charities, and to our partners at the Food Pantry at McDonald, we provided coats to many families in need.
The event served as a heartwarming reminder of what a community can accomplish when people come together with generosity and care.

TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We’re excited to share that our district will be launching an updated version of the Parent Portal over winter break. This upgrade will provide a more streamlined, user-friendly experience for parents and guardians accessing district digital resources. If interested in learning more, visit the ClassLink Parent Portal overview.
Why the Update
This enhanced Parent Portal is designed to provide families with a more comprehensive and intuitive experience. The update will make it easier for parents to track their children's engagement with school-approved digital resources by providing clear usage analytics for each student. It will also streamline access by allowing parents to log in using a Gmail or Microsoft account and personalize their dashboard to better match their needs. Additionally, stronger integration with district systems reduces the likelihood of login issues and helps ensure a more reliable experience for families.
When This Will Happen and What to Expect
We will be rolling out the updated Parent Portal during winter break. Before the transition, we encourage all families to log in to Skyward and verify that your contact information is accurate and up to date. Once the new Parent Portal becomes available, you will receive instructions on how to claim your account and begin using the upgraded platform.
Thank you for your cooperation as we make this important upgrade to improve our communication and resource delivery.
HEALTH & WELLNESS
As the fall season brings beautiful changes to our surroundings, it can also bring an unwelcome challenge — head lice.
